I used to do this on Blogger. Now I do it here. It's easier.

Day 10: A picture of your entire nail polish collection.
Whee, I finally finished one!
Well, according to my Excel spreadsheet, I have 720 bottles. I know for a fact I have at least 800, since I have a less-than-up-to-date spreadsheet. Hmm. Pictures!

Ew. I need to empty my garbage.

Day 9: The color of polish you have the most of in your nail polish collection.
Blue. Two drawers full.

I have my weekly stash pulled out of these as well, so there are at least ten others running around.
Day 8: A picture of any nail polish you want to buy/own.
OPI My Private Jet (The original. I have the crummy brown version. :( )

(Not my picture. Shamelessly snatched from Flickr.)
Day 7: Favorite brand of nail polish.
Ooh, tough one. I’d probably say that my favorite colors are China Glaze, but I seem to have a whole ton of Sally Hansen. I think their collection is really diverse.
Boring post is boring.
Day 6: Why you like nail polish.
When I was really young, I chewed my nails. Not bit them, chewed. I had no nails and less cuticles. I remember getting in an argument with my dad one time when I was tying water balloons because my fingers were quite literally bleeding. I actually developed a different way of holding my hands in my lap so you couldn’t see my hands so that my mom wouldn’t freak out over it. She promised me in fourth grade that if I would stop chewing on them, she would take me to have a professional manicure.
I’m 21 and still haven’t got that manicure. I still haven’t stopped chewing. But I’m better. I had a shoebox full of polish in elementary/jr. high, cheap dollar stuff. I picked up the Nail bug hard my freshman year of college, looking for a lime green that would glow under blacklight for a costume party.
Another reason? In high school a particularly rude boy that hung out with my best friend called me ‘Man-hands’ constantly. Painting my nails and taking care of them is my one feminine concession.
TL;DR- So I’d stop chewing my nails, and to feel a little girly sometimes.
Day 5: A picture of your favorite nail polish collection.
Oddly enough, this one:

At the time, I didn’t care for cremes. Now I wear them all the time because they are awesome for art. I’m pretty sure I bought all of these but maybe one.
Yeesh, I knew I’d get behind on this.
Anyway,
Day 4: Favorite color to put on your nails.
Probably blue. I took blue off and put it right back on this weekend. Two different colors of blue, but still.
Second would be black/green.
And I hear I look really good in red.
Here’s a gif.

Day 3: The name of the place where you buy most of your nail polish.
Sallys. Kroger (They sell OPI). Ulta.
This has been a post.
Day 2: A picture of your current manicure.
Good. Means I won’t have to post this anywhere else, since it is officially a nail fail.

China Glaze White on White, Massini Not So Subtle, WetnWild Black Creme, Sinful Pleasures Fly Away, China Glaze Sugar High, Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure.
Ugh. Tried to do plaid. Part of the problem is this is my left hand (I’m a lefty) so it’s harder to do straight lines. But don’t worry. The right hand isn’t much better.
Blech. Make it go away. Where’s my acetone?
I saw this floating around a while back and thought this would be a good place to put it.
Day 1: A picture and the name of your favorite nail polish.
This one is hard. I have so much polish it’s hard to pick one. I’d have to say, though, that this is one of my favorites.

I use this all the time. This is one of the few polishes that I actually have a back-up of.
